  • Partner Evangelism
    • Positioning the business value of the Microsoft platform and services to  help win platform adoption. Demonstrating solid presentation skills dealing with broad audience. Deep technical knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft Online Services technologies.
  • Architecture Guidance
    • Understanding the partner’s business requirement, technical environment, and providing robust and scalable advice that meets the partner’s current and future requirements.
  • Technology Migration Assistance
    • Understanding the partner’s existing technical environment and business requirements to suggest a solution based on latest MS technology. Also assisting in migration from competitive products.
  • Workshop Delivery
    • Presenting simple to complex technical or functional topics. These included demonstrations and scenario-based discussions imparting relevant information and influencing adoption of MS Technologies. This task also included response to follow up questions resulting from delivered workshops. I created and delivered many Technical Training Courses for Partners (Ex: Practice Accelerators, Momentum and Power Start Workshops, Jumpstarts). Some Public Projects I have participated in: Provincia di Lecco, Patrizia Pepe, Museo del Calcio, Bialetti, Limoni, Fiorentina Calcio, etc..

I Filmed and Edited many short videos about Voice of the Partners, Internal Events and Service Presentation published on the Microsoft Partner Network site. During my time in this role I have been a Mentor for 2 colleagues.

Partner Technical Specialist - Microsoft

November 2006 to June 2010

The PTS offers direct Microsoft Partner pre-sales technical and non-technical resolutions for Microsoft products in supporting them and their customers.
My Primary Responsibilities and Tasks: Offer Presales Technical Support to Certified Partner, Gold Partner and Small Business Specialists. Our service covered planning, deployment, basic troubleshooting, migration, upgrade on Microsoft technologies. I studied solutions and projects to develop IT infrastructures based on clusters, load balancing and virtualization with many thousands of users. Deliver Webcasts, Conferences and Workshops on Microsoft technologies to Microsoft Partners.
During my time in this role I have been a Mentor for 3 colleagues.

System Administrator - Digital Bros Spa

October 2003 to November 2006

I moved to Digital Bros Spa from the Game Network Spa subsidiary as System Administrator.
My Primary Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • I entirely designed and developed Digital Bros intranet based on ASP 2.0 and MS SQL Server 2000.
  • I was responsible for the company e-mail system, backup, connectivity and administration in Fastweb Datacenter for a large number of Online Gaming and WEB servers (35+).
  • I was an IT Technical Coordinator in Digital Bros until November 2006.
Audio Video Technician/IT Engineer - Game Network

February 2002 to November 2003

I started working in Game Network as Audio/Video technician; in particular, I dealt with clips and
programs editing using Matrox Digisuite Platform and Adobe Premiere.
My Primary Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • I worked as a cameraman and was responsible for the shows sets (from lighting to microphone preparation and positioning).
  • I created the Game Network Intranet and some Web Based software to manage TV program schedules (BARB).
  • I dealt with DVE, SVCD authoring (eg; Making of Horizons, Atari, Sega Mega Collection Trailers).
  • I took part in installing and testing Game Channel Services and games through SMS.
  • I assembled and configured the Matrox Infonet TV system to stream digital content via internet and to provide Interactive TV services. I designed and deployed the Game Network Real Time Streaming to broadcast TV signals to England from their space satellite.

Worked as freelance in project and creation of Web sites and IT solutions. Developed some internet sites for Equitare, Metalmodel, e-Dream, ItalyDOC, Hotel Mediterraneo , … ItalyDOC e Metalmodel were e-commerce sites totally based on ASP 2.0 technology. Both sites accepted payments using secure transactions with Banca Sella.

Fulvio Salanitro works in information technology (IT) since 2001. He worked for several years as a freelance and, later, as senior systems engineer for a multinational company. In 2006 he joined Microsoft Global Partner Services (GPS). Since then, he supported Microsoft partners in their projects with consulting and trainings activities. His specialties are Microsoft virtualization solutions, messaging and collaboration, but in particular Microsoft Online Services.

Over the years, he had the opportunity to participate as a speaker in various events: the Italian edition of the WPC, the Unified Communications Conference, the launch of products such as Office 365 and international trainings such as the Microsoft Practice Accelerator and Jumpstart.

Fulvio has successfully achieved the following technical certifications: MCT, MCSA, MCTS, MCITP, MCP related to Windows Server and Clients, SharePoint and Office 365.

In 2015 he changed is role again and he is now a Senior Technical Advisor (Microsoft 365) and act as Lead for the EMEA Exchange Online POD in Microsoft.
